During our Christmas stay, we appreciated the complimentary wine and olive oil that were waiting for us upon arrival. The location of the hotel was also a big plus, as it was right in the heart of the city, making it easy for us to explore Matera. Additionally, the staff was helpful and assisted us with carrying our luggage, which was a relief.
There were a couple of downsides to our stay. the air conditioning in our room was not functioning properly, which made the temperature inside confusing and uncomfortable at night.

My stay at Enotrio was amazing! The room was built into the rocks, giving it a unique and cave-like atmosphere. The amenities were fantastic, especially the complimentary wine and olive oil upon arrival. The location in the heart of Matera was perfect, and the staff even helped us carry our suitcases down the stairs from where we parked. The breakfast, although simple, was just a short walk away and had delicious pastries and beverages.
